P T 2024-04-18 My uPVC front door lock was snapped by burglars one night and while nothing was stolen, it left me a bit shook up and in need of my car locks being replaced as they took my car keys, and front + back door locks changed.
Called around a few local places the following morning, none really stood out as understanding the urgency or coming back with sensible prices. I happened to come across David Locks, called, got through (not always the case with these companies I found) and was surprised and impressed to be quoted exactly the price advertised on the website, but also be advised that he could be there in an hour AND BEST OF ALL do my car and house locks at the same time for a discounted price.
The work carried out on my doors was second to none, rebalanced my door frame, installed and talked me through the level of security the Yale Anti Snap locks would now be giving me (I was still a bit twitchy after having 6 men come into my house at 2.00qn that morning) and used Yale locks and quality fittings for the job.
The car was a bit tricky but David completed the work and everything was good.
A minor and I mean minor problem popped up with the car that might have been linked to David's work several weeks later and this is the best part and something you don't often get these days.
David came out to me without hesitation to have a look and resolved any issues that might have been caused by him without question or charge AND advised that if it happens again to get back in touch.
I've worked with tradespeople all my life and it's a very rare thing indeed to get this level of customer service and support with such open and straight forward pricing. No sucking of breath going "Ohhhhh, that's going to cost you" or "I'm fully booked for the next 3 months", just honest, immediate, straight forward quality work.
As a result I can't recommend David highly enough and I'd happily introduce David to all my friends and family without hesitation knowing he'd do a Stirling job.

Dave turned up within an hour, but the job proved to be far more difficult than first thought and after 4 hours he took a unit home with him to reprogram and promised to return on Sunday! He did but still couldn’t fix it! Another colleague turned up and they eventually managed to fix it 10pm Sunday night! It was super impressive that they managed to solve the issues and persevered. The final cost was as originally quoted despite all the time labouring to find a fix! Super impressive
